Ibogaine Treatment Clinic in Costa Rica

New Life Iboga is the first clinic in Costa Rica to offer both ibogaine treatments and ayahuasca ceremonies. Former IbogaLife employees were fortunate to team up with Howard and Kuyay at AyahuascaCR to provide safe, medically monitored ibogaine treatments. We provide ceremonies based around the traditions and rituals of Bwiti, a spirtual practice founded in West Africa and of which iboga is the sacrament.

We have found that ayahuasca in conjuction with ibogaine have profoundly beneficial results. Both treatments are avaliable at our clinic. New Life Iboga offers 3-14 day stays and 7-14 day detox treatments.

Ibogaine & Ayahuasca Treatments in Costa Rica

Ibogaine is a powerful plant medicine derived from the Tabernanthe Iboga shrub. This medicine has been used for centuries by practitioners of Bwiti. The root bark iboga or ibogaine HCL, a pharmaceutical grade derived from alkaloids found in the bark, is ingested by bwiti initiates. This produces visions typically of introspective nature and often guided by spirits and ancestors. We combine the sacred bwiti traditions and ceremonies with a modern medical approach to provide a safe spiritual experience.

New Life Iboga uses ibogaine HCL for detoxes and offers either iboga root bark or ibogaine HCL for spiritual journeys. Ibogaine alleviates withdrawal symptoms from opiates such as heroin and helps reduce or eliminate the desire for other recreational drugs and alcohol.

New Life Iboga works with AyahuascaCR sharing a facility to make both sacred plant medicines available. We believe that participating in ayahuasca ceremonies after an ibogaine treatment can be extremely beneficial for growth, healing and recovery. We offer a variety of treatment options and although we encourage ayahuasca in conjunction with ibogaine treatment, both are offered individually.

We are located on a working organic farm in the mountains of Cartago,Costa Rica, just outside the capitol of San Jose. Our farm offers a variety of organically grown fruits and vegetables, free range eggs from our chickens, and fresh fish from our ponds. We provide trips to hot springs, beaches and waterfalls while other activities such as zip lining, white water rafting and the water park are available.
